Explain the situation, set a goal (at least TZS 100,000) and add a photo. Verify your identity (NIDA) and upload supporting documents.

How does CHANGISHA make money?
Starting a campaign is free. The donor pays a service fee on top of their gift — a 5% platform fee (minimum TZS 100) plus about 2.57% charged by the mobile money network — so the campaign receives 100% of what the donor chose to give. Donors can also add an optional tip. When you withdraw, the payment provider charges TZS 1,500 per transfer (minimum withdrawal TZS 50,000).

Is CHANGISHA like GoFundMe?
It is the same idea — online fundraising for people and causes — built for Tanzania: mobile money instead of cards, Swahili and English, and local verification of every campaign.
Is it free to start a campaign?
Yes. Creating an account and a campaign is free. Donors pay the service fee on top of their gift, so you receive the full donation.
Which payment methods are supported?
M-Pesa, Mixx by Yas, Airtel Money and HaloPesa. The donor confirms the payment with their mobile money PIN.
How fast can I withdraw?
Once your campaign is verified you can request a payout at any time; each request is reviewed before it is sent. Bank accounts receive the full amount at once, mobile money wallets up to TZS 5,000,000 per day.
Who can raise money?
Anyone in Tanzania with a verified identity (NIDA), for themselves or someone else with their consent, and registered organisations such as NGOs, churches, mosques, schools and foundations. Political campaigns are not allowed.
