Organisation page
Your permanent link (changisha.co.tz/o/your-name) with your story, the ✔ badge, donation totals, your campaigns and contact details.
General fund
A "Donate" button on your page — it accepts donations any time, with no end date, for the organisation’s day-to-day work.
Project campaigns
Start as many campaigns as you like — each with its own goal, photo and progress — all under the organisation’s name.
Step by step
- Create an account
Sign up and choose "Organisation / NGO". The account manager (the person who will run campaigns) uses their own name and phone number, then verifies the phone by SMS.
- Fill in the organisation details
The full name as on the certificate, registration number, registering authority, TIN, region, phone, a description of your work, logo and banner image.
- Add the payout account
Mobile money or bank — it must be in the organisation’s name. Organisation funds are never paid to a personal account.

- The manager’s identity: NIDA, an ID photo and a selfie
- Submit for review
Our team reviews the documents, checks the registration in the Registrar’s records and calls your office. You’ll be told by SMS when the organisation is verified — or if we need corrections.
- Start receiving donations
Once verified, your public page opens and the general fund starts accepting donations. Share the link on WhatsApp, Facebook and with your members.
Dedicated project campaigns
For a project with a specific goal (e.g. building a classroom, buying equipment, fees for 40 students), start a campaign and choose the organisation as the owner. An organisation campaign needs:
- A real photo of the project or beneficiaries
- A project proposal or budget showing how the money will be used
A local government letter isn’t needed for campaigns of a verified organisation — your registration is enough. Every campaign is still reviewed before it can receive donations.
Receiving the money
Requesting payouts
Request a payout any time from the general fund or a campaign. The withdrawal fee is TZS 1,500 per request; the minimum is TZS 10,000.
Accountability
Large amounts are paid in tranches of up to TZS 1,000,000; the next tranche after you upload spending receipts. The amount paid out is shown publicly on your page.
Fee
Opening an account and campaigns is free. The donor pays the service fee on top of their donation, so the organisation receives the full donation. See our fees →
Details
You get a message for every donation; donors get a thank-you receipt with the transaction reference.

Which organisations can register?
NGOs, CBOs, faith organisations (churches, mosques), foundations/trusts, schools and colleges — any officially registered in Tanzania with a TIN.
How long does verification take?
It depends on how complete your documents are. Clear, consistent documents are reviewed quickly; if we need corrections we’ll tell you by SMS.
Can we change the payout account?
Yes, on the organisation page. For safety, changing the payout account, name or registration sends the organisation back for review before new payouts.
Can several people manage the account?
For now each account is managed by one manager authorised by the leadership letter. If you change the manager, contact us.
Does a donor need an account?
No. They enter the amount, their name and phone number, then confirm with their mobile money PIN.
